TalkBack / Re: Runbow (Wii U) Review
« on: August 31, 2015, 01:36:08 PM »
I had the demo and bought the game on Day 1. I too found there were technical glitches, but according to 13AM's twitter, this is because it is on my external hard drive. I moved it to my internal Wii U storage and it now runs without frame drops! They are working on fixing it though. Fantastic game! Definitely addictive.

Itoi didn't have any problems with the changes made from Mother 2 to Earthbound. The localization isn't the issue. There is definitely something deeper going on than this surface level stuff or it would have been released in Japan (since Mother 1 + 2 and 3 were released in Japan on the GBA).

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Should Nintendo Buy SEGA?

The thing that struck me while reading this thread is this: if Nintendo bought Sega, we could (in a million years) have a Monolith Soft produced sequel to Skies of Arcadia.

So therefore, BUY SEGA NOW NINTENDO DO IT NOW

Is this like the twitter of game reviews?

Well, here goes nothing, in no particular order.
(Title - Initial Thought - Post Game Reflection)

Golden Sun:Dark Dawn - More fun! - Less charm.
Dragon Quest IX - Traditional RPG - Frickin' addictive.
Etrian Odyssey III - Far too old school - Incredibly deep
Pokemon Black - Nostalgia time! - Bored after 20 hours
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - Better than Superstar Saga? - Nope!
Radiant Historia - Interesting mechanics - Awesome battle system
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Fun sequel - 24 hours straight...
Chrono Trigger DS - About time - Not revolutionary as promised

Looking over these, I still have to finish most of them. I get distracted a little too easily... now, back to Xenoblade...

+1 for Wario Land 4, for Ambassador reasons.

I'm fairly excited for the crossover potential, since it opens up Baten Kaitos characters as trophies at least, and playable possibly!

Pokemon Snap, anybody? Quick, easy to get now thanks to Virtual Console, and fairly unique as far as gameplay goes. Also rife for a sequel on WiiU.
