TalkBack / RE:Nintendo's Unprecedented European Success Continues
« on: January 26, 2008, 03:09:56 AM »
I think they sold maybe 3 or 4 copies of Twilight Princess GC in Europe. We got it late enough.

And it's only a 'historically difficult market' because Nintendo historically (and legendarily) makes no effort to get their games to Europe in good time. I'm really fearful that Smash Bros Brawl will take ages, despite having very little to translate...

And Europe is getting it when? No, it's not late March whoever suggested that, we haven't even got a f***ing date to get pushed back. If Super Paper Mario is anything to go by, we won't be seeing it until September. I suspect it will be around May, April if we're lucky. And you guys are complaining about March?!

TalkBack / RE:Two Transformers Games Coming to DS

I'm interested in the main console game (mainly because they said 'screw you' to Michael Bay and hired the original cartoon voice, Frank Welker, as Megatron), but this just seems a little bit much. If you want to play both, you have to buy both versions? They better be gigantic games, and certainly not full price DS carts either...

TalkBack / RE:Telltale Games Developing for Wii
« on: February 02, 2007, 06:49:10 AM »
If you buy the full season you get access to each episode as they appear, you don't have to wait until the whole season's available.

Another good reason to do it early is that the price will almost certainly be going up after the season's complete, and you get the whole series on a DVD, in a box, for free (when it's available).

Telltale were looking to bring Sam & Max to the Wii ages ago, all they had to do was convince Nintendo that the market was there. They did (with a little help from their fans constantly emailing Nintendo), and Nintendo sent them the developer kits.

Cool!
