Ouch this is tragic. If it means more time to polish the game then im all for it.

However im not sure about other people but TP is going to be the deciding factor is wether i get the REV or not. If TP isnt amazing or doesnt come out on the GC, i will not buy a REV. I need something to show me that nintendo still has the magic, worth investing in another console.

True enough. There isnt much i can do other then talk my friends out of buying their games. I was considering getting FIFA though as i really wanted a soccer game but i wont anymore. So i guess i will just have to be content with that minor act.

Well I guess i will boycott EA now. Thats not really a big deal however considering i own 17 GC games and none of them were made by EA. I only buy quality games, not that im implying anything about EA games of course...

In any case maybe this will even work out for the best. I see sports games as the main entry for casual gamers and as far as im concerned casual gamers are largely responsible for the negative changes i have been seeing in the game industry. Maybe if EA makes bad enough games casual gamers will stop spending money and stop playing games. Still its to bad that sports games fans will be going through a rough time...

"We sold four million copies. That's $250 million worldwide," declares Bruno Bonnell, Atari's chairman and CEO. "That's what a big major motion picture makes. And Warner Bros. would penalize us because we didn't achieve 70%? Are they joking?"

My problem with this is that really Atari didnt sell 250 million, the movies did. Considering how badly the games were done i can only assume any company could make that much as long as it was backed by the movies. In fact a good game based off the title im betting would have made quite a bit more. If it wasnt for the movies they would have made 0.

Im glad there doing this because there allot of good movies which i would like to see made into games worth playing. It also makes sense from the movie producers side because selling crappy games with their name on it cant be good for the franchise.
