Marking approximately 9002 RPGs released on 3DS this year.

The last RPG on the 3DS's 2016 plate will be based on magna and anime, but it won't be Pokémon.

Bandai Namco announced today that Dragon Ball Fusions, the newest Dragon Ball RPG, will release in North America on December 13. A European release will follow in February of 2017.

Fusions features a player-creatable protagonist who fights alongside many of the popular franchise's characters. In addition, the Fusion Dance can be performed to unlock new characters and abilities.

I have absolutely zero interest in Dragon Ball however it's from Ganbarion who made Pandora's Tower and looks to be a big ambitious RPG, I'll keep my eye on it.

This is a license just from the sheer volume of video game adaptations that there are good ones. I actually REALLY dug Dragon Ball Xenoverse quite a bit, so... maybe. I'm already cash strapped and missing out on so many games i wanna play this year.

I'll be interested in seeing the reviews for this game. I love the Dragon Ball series, but none of the recent games have really caught my attention all that much (at least on Nintendo platforms).
