In the GBA one you control one directly, in the GC one its the same as The Sims

Actually they're completely different, but I don't want to get into all the differences except the most notable difference. You control one Sim directly instead of several by using the cursor.

Thanks for all the info. I rememer back on the 64 I had a 3rd party card that was fine for over 2 years, so I was just wondering if they were still good.

Are the Mad Catz or Interact memory cards that have like 1000 blocks worth it? I know storage size is great but do they lose their data?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:ESPN.com now brings you sports and games

Seriously, it's ESPN. Why would you even look to ESPN for gaming stuff. They barely knw sports. Plus, with their partership with SEGA Sports, which hates Nintendo, they would likely be biased anyway.

If it keeps selling, it won't.

With the price of N-Gage you can buy a GBA SP, a quality phone, and a game or 2. It's rediculous. I'm on another gaming message board, and there's someone there who is well into his forties, maybe even fifties I can't remember, who says he's not ashamed to sit in a mall playing his GBA SP with headphones on while he's waiting for his wife. It is clear that Nokia is out of whack.

TalkBack / The Return of the $60 Game?
« on: June 29, 2003, 08:36:42 PM »
I'm used to paying $70-80 for new GC games in Canada, but new games (Sonic Adventure DX) are now down to $60 CDN due to the recent 10 cent increase in the Canadian dollar. If they do increase game prices all it will do is put it back to $70 for me, so I can't lose.

I don't know why all professional reviewers are giving this game bad reviews. I picked it up and have hardly noticed the big gripes they had. My framerate rarely slows down, never below 45 frames per second. My camera is rarely stuck on walls, and is generally easily un-stuck when it is. I also have no problem with the voice acting. The big problem for me is the "dubbing" of the voice onto the characters moving mouth. It was horrendous on DC, and was never addressed.
