Nintendo Gaming / RE:new Zelda Game
« on: October 25, 2004, 06:13:54 PM »
yeah, i'd trade my pinky (my guitar pinky no less) for the next zelda game if i had to, even without seeing a single screenshot. I was very impressed with ww, so much so that i'll probably end up buying a designated zelda controller for the next one.... it is important to insure utmost bow and arrow accuracy.

i like it, typical nintendo style, but on the more contemporary side, makes it looks like a serious machine. i think the metroid demo'll be quality, it'll be nice to have something right at the get-go that you check out the wireless capabilities with (aside from pictochat).

P.S. i assume that the ds on the side of the box is running pictochat? <as if anyone would know>

i don't know exactly what you were trying to say gaimeguy, but i for one am pretty disappointed to see goldeneye coming from EA. i wish it could have come from Rare, if they're making DS games, they knew how to put together a quality nintendo 64 shooter <perfect dark can still compete with many of the new fps imo>. other than that, it seems to me that ninty is doing the good thing, setting up a pretty impressive starting line up, at least one that i can look forward to, rather than having me bank on later releases. i just hope this is a precurser of what's to come with their next console launch. out.

"Even if it is getting kind of stale we've never played that formula in full 3D. People talk about how they want a Pokemon MMORPG and all this stuff but all I want is to play a Red/Blue style Pokemon game in full 3D."

AMEN!

is the game deep/long enough to justify purchasing it? or could i get just about all it has to offer with a 5 day rental?

yeah, i agree, if this does work, which i hope it will, the idea will probably be utilized by a lot of people, hopefully opening up more opportunities for nintendo style fee-less online play... but failure would obviously have just the opposite affect <watches dreams of free online gaming go down drain>

NWR Feedback / RE:PGC Name
« on: February 13, 2004, 07:20:56 AM »
i'm no marketing expert, but it seems to me that no name change might seem a little bit out-dated. after all, someone who doesn't already know anything about PGC would probably skip over a search result with the word 'Gamecube' in it, and go to the site that brags about N5 (tentative) coverage. just imo.

NWR Feedback / PGC Name

im not sure if this is even a legal post, but i'm curious to know if Planet Gamecube will keep its name even after the launch of Nintendo's next home console. stupid question, i know, but i couldn't help but be curious.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:new speculation on DS i found at egm
« on: February 05, 2004, 12:51:38 PM »
im thinkin your facts might not be quite straight there, i'm pretty sure that someone already announced that it will be two seperate screens to use as different views simultaneously, or to be used as one whole screen if the developer so choosed. i could be wrong, but thats the impression i got.

yeah, it'll rock... i want to wet my pants in anticipation...

i'd be interested to see how prominent a role the RPG element takes in this game. it seems too good to be true that it would be like a full on pokemon rpg in 3d form... but if it is... <shivers at such a blissful thought>

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Zelda: Wind Waker was it a let down?
« on: January 28, 2004, 07:36:32 AM »
i'm more of a recent zelda fan, WW bein the only one i've played through, but i think that i just about wet myself the first time i tried to go up and hit one of those redead things in WW with my sword... ugh... easy bad guys once you know what to do, but im still terrified everytime one o' those things screeches at me...

Nintendo Gaming / RE:who should be the next bad guy in tWW2???
« on: January 23, 2004, 02:37:20 PM »
can't remember who it was who was wishing for "serious time travel", but I kinda like the idea. imagine being able to go from the WW time back "dry land" time in hyrule, that'd be sweet... yet unlikely.
