Interesting news. I might actually pick up this issue of NP. If Nintendo is partnering with Gamespy for this, I wonder were Warp Pipe fits in?

wow. Jungle Beat has been my most anticipated game for awhile now. I can't believe what these guys said about it though. I want it more than ever!

the only one I have heard about it the mario kart gamecube bundle. Has anyone heard anything about these other bundles and promotions? I want to get some new games but I won't until I find out what these deals are
and yeah smash bro is probably my favorite game of all time. I think that it is such a unique game that the revolutionary step was just creating the first one. From now on, I hope that the sequels are just evolutionary steps from the first one (like how melee was). If nintendo wants to make a 3d kind of fighting game fine but they better not call is smash bro.

you cant determine anything about the Revolution yet. We don't even know what it IS. You don't name something Revolution unless it is going to deliver. I highly doubt it is just another processing power upgrade.
logically, you cant be more disappointed in your GC because RE4 is going to PS2, because it only affects what is on PS2, not what is on GC. After hearing this news, GC has not lost a game, so it still has what it had before that announcement so this should not make you more or less happy or content with GC's lineup than before.

some of you guys are being ridiculous. I can understand being mad that capcom lied repeatedly. But some of you are saying things like, i am really disappointed in gc, or i should have got a ps2, or well i learned my leason and now i am going to get a ps3 instead of revolution. I would understand you saying this IF Re4 was moved to Ps2 and canceled on GC. But since gc is still getting it, and a year earlier than the ps2, im not sure what leason you learned or why that disappoints you further with your gc? If you were already disappointed with your GC then fine, but this should not bring about any further disappointment for your GC. Im not sure if you sound spoiled, like you want to be the only one to have the game, or what, but its a pretty immature attitude to have.

Nintendo makes quirky, charming, original, offbeat games that a certain kind of person will adore. I am that kind of person. Something that I am worried about is how can Nintendo become more popular with the public without catering to their (imo poor) tastes?
The thing is, Pikmin 2 is a GREAT game. And GTA SA is a GREAT game. But GTA is also the "cool" game. I don't think Nintendo can change that. They are making games for a crowd that has a lot less people in it.
I don't want Nintendo to change in such a way that they aren't "Nintendo" anymore. If they could still have their own style of games and also have the darker, bloodier, "cooler" games then it would help sales a lot (they almost, kinda had a start in that direction with Silicon Knights). Optimistically, if anyone can do it, its REGGIE!
