We could hold out hope that Metroid is the FDS version that had a real save feature, but they haven't used that most of the times they rereleased the game.

Heck, they're not even using the disk version of Zelda 1 in Japan.

I'm pretty sure the version of the game that was unlockable in Zero Mission was the FDS version. The Wii VC one isn't. Which version was the Classic NES series cartridge?

I own all of these except Donkey Kong Jr., which I don't have an interest in. But that's what I was expecting, since I already have just about every worthwhile NES game, especially the ones Nintendo published. This program definitely wasn't made with someone like me in mind, I'd have much rather they had just given me $40 in eShop credits.

The only title I have questionable beef with is Metroid. It's just nearly impossible to get through without outside help, so I don't expect to get very far with it. Other than that- fine cool and great. I never was able to complete Zelda II so I'll be heading into that from the go. I hope all the games are available to download this week and are not trickled out through the coming months.

I hope that the 10 NES titles they give are NOT the only ones to choose from. (Some of these games I played and didn't like them. So I hope they'll be others because if not then this "ambassador program" is worthless.)

I was hoping for the same thing but it seems Nintendo is taking the most laziest programming way of sending the games out by just adding them to the list of game you bought. Worst yet is you have to navigate to the setting to 'redownload' them; well at least until they have their own listing in a few months....

Star Tropics would have been nice since I've never played it.

For the GBA games, Mother 3 would be super nice of Nintendo. They won't do it but it'd still be super nice of them if they did.
