What's in store for 3DS owners this week?

Things on the eShop are back to normal here in Japan, and this is what Nintendo 3DS owners can pick up today:

3DS Downloadable Software

Rabi x Laby Episode 3 – 600 yen

Virtual Console

Ikari no Yōsai 2 (Fortified Zone 2) – 400 yen

Video Content

There were several new videos uploaded to the eShop today. The first was a new 2D streaming video for the upcoming Rhythm Thief title from Sega. The video runs a little over three minutes long and highlights some of the gameplay and fantastic animation from the game. Capcom also added a streaming 3D video that shows off some of the opening sequence to Biohazard: Revelations, which has Jill and her partner boarding the ghost ship from the original Revelations demo. The 3D in the game is clearly one of the best uses of the Nintendo 3DS' technology.

Software Impressions

Better late than never, I managed to pick up the Virtual Console version of Tetris. At this point, there are a few different versiosn of Tetris that gamers can play on the 3DS—Tetris Axis, Tetris DS, and the Virtual Console title. Seeing as how the recently released Virtual Console version is the cheapest of them all, it was definitely a no-brainer for me to pick it up. Tetris for the Virtual Console is what you would expect—the Soviet puzzle game that we’ve all probably played at some point. Now, it can be with you constantly on your 3DS. If you haven’t picked this game up yet and want an excuse to stop carrying around your original Game Boy, buying this would be a great idea.
