Nintendo sent a Twitter message earlier today attempting to clarify the situation regarding Devil's Third.

We know you are eager to hear more about Devil’s Third. We are excited to bring the game to Wii U and will have more to share soon.

The tweet does not state officially that Nintendo has reclaimed the publishing duties for Devil's Third. Similar language was used by Nintendo when The Last Story was announced for North America back in 2012 during a Nintendo Direct.

I'm somewhat surprised that Nintendo of America would address the issue. Granted, this is a tweet on a Saturday. They are being less and less unfazed by the Internet Shouting Machine.
