Nintendo Gaming / RE: Gameboy DS

The word 'gameboy' is getting about as common as the the word 'xerox'.  Where people just call any handheld system 'gameboy'.

I hate to say it but I get the feeling that most DS games will be using the second screen for maps etc.. Which isnt bad but I dont want to pay $150 just to see my map screen at all times. If thats the case just bring out the GBA2 and get it over with.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: To DVD or not to DVD
« on: November 18, 2004, 04:38:05 AM »
This may be a little off topic but I think the fact that Nintendo has stayed away from standard DVD format in the Cube has really save their butts from piracy. Im afraid they might have followed in the footsteps of the Dreamcast if they didnt. And hopefully they wont use the standard DVD format or size in Revolution.

this would be a great system to bring back Kid Icarus on but I would really like to see a Pikmin game on DS. YOu could use the touch screen to pickup Pikmin and throw them.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Your Impressions of the Nintendo DS Demo
« on: November 18, 2004, 04:30:13 AM »
I played the DS at a local Wal-Mart last sunday. Yes I was very shocked to see it at Wal-Mart before my local game stores. Anyway I was very impressed with what I demoed. The Metroid controls felt very natural and I didnt mind using the stylus as much as I thought I would. But I think my hands and fingures would start to hurt after a few hours of gameplay. My only wish is that I could of tested out the multiplayer abilities of the DS. One thing that seemed annoying was that I had to turn off the system to load Picto Chat or switch to a game, vise versa as well. overall I liked the DS and im looking forward to playing SM64 DS soon.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:N64 adapter for GC!?
« on: November 18, 2004, 04:19:42 AM »
Now that ive had some time to think about it I really suspect that its going to be the IQue (the N64 system recently released in China) player that Nintendo is releasing to the states. That way they can sell new copies of old N64 games on a new format. Because why would they bring out an adapter for the old system that none can buy games for.

Nintendo Gaming / N64 adapter for GC!
« on: November 16, 2004, 03:06:19 PM »
Right now on Nintendos website is a forum poll  that says: "What level of interest do you have, and how much would you pay for an adapter that allowed you to play N64 cartridges on the Nintendo GameCube?"  and the options were "Very interested, and would pay up to $39 or $49 or $59 or Not interested at all, and dont own an N64 or Not interested at all although own an N64".

Now why would Nintedo post this on their homepage unless they were really curious about producing it, keyword curious?

Can you post a link to Konami saying that the next Castlevania will be on Xbox Next?

Send this to Nintendo those changes look great!! The DS looks much better with a top widescreen. You could even watch movies on that screen.
