You only have to wait a little more than a month for Namco's promising RPG/space-shooter.

SIGMA STAR SAGA(TM) GOES GOLD

A New Sci-Fi RPG is Born on the Game Boy(R) Advance

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (June 30, 2005) - Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that Sigma Star Saga(TM) has gone gold.  Created exclusively for the Game Boy(R) Advance, Sigma Star Saga combines role-playing depth and storytelling with intense space-shooting action to create an original video game adventure unlike any other. Sigma Star Saga was honored at E3 2005 by GameSpot as a "Best Game Boy Advance Game" nominee and will be available in stores this August.

Taking place in the midst of a decades-long interplanetary struggle, Sigma Star Saga casts players as a human double agent deep in enemy territory on a mission to subvert the Krill armada from the inside.  Featuring an engaging storyline of love, betrayal and revenge spanning the entire galaxy, Sigma Star Saga allows players to explore their surroundings and outfit their character, with powerful weaponry that will prove indispensable in their quest for victory.

The action takes to the skies in fast-paced side-scrolling space shooting segments.  Using unique Gun Data found during exploration missions, players can customize their ship with more than 15,000 combinations of upgrades that can be used during battle segments.

"With an innovative combination of both RPG and space-shooter elements, Sigma Star Saga is one of the most ambitious games ever made for the Game Boy Advance," said Jeff Lujan, business director with Namco Hometek Inc. "We have taken the most memorable aspects of these two genres and have tied them together into a gripping science fiction storyline to create a truly compelling, original game for fans of handheld gaming."

Sigma Star Saga is rated E10+ for "Everyone 10 and older" by the ESRB.  For additional information on Sigma Star Saga, please visit www.SigmaStarSaga.com.
