Best buy here got 90 units in on thursday, I just happened to take off that day and there were like 12 units left sitting on the floor when I got there at 12 'o clock.  I didn't think I'd ever get one till the end of the year.

I would do that but then I'd have to get wireless card also, kinda waiting til leopard comes out and just get a Mac with one on it already.  Thanx for the post though.

I just got my Wii 2day and I have a wired internet connection and a mac.  I bought the WiFi max but it only works with a pc and I need a solution that will work with a mac.  Any help would be appreciated.

I watched x-play yesterday and every game exept red steel got a 4 star or better rating.  If people are letting one game deter them from getting the rest then..........oh well.   PS3 games are getting horrible reviews except Resistance fall of man, so i don't know what some people want.

Gamespot is owned by cnet and if you ever looked any of there reviews you'd know that they are always biased or just plain dumb, so it comes to me as no suprise that Gamespot.com reviews are the same.  I stopped going there for my gaming news/reviews awhile ago.

I disagree with those who say a review is supposed to subjective and not objective esp when they don't state that from the begining of the review.  If I ever knew some one was biased agaist a certain company I would take the reivew with a different perspective.

Yeah gamespot really dogged this one out but ign gave it decent reviews.  This may be a rental for me just too many conflicting reviews for a buy.

What will be interesting to watch is how well all those ps3's are selling on ebay, now that is a stat i would love to see.  Those systmems are going for upwards of $5,000 a pop, wonder how long that is going to last?

Those numbers seemed to be correct to me, but i can't say how they got those numbers esp so fast.  Has the wii/ps3 even been launched internationaly yet?  I have a feeling ps3 won't bee #1 this time around think they shot themselves in the foot with high price tag.  It will be interesting in about six months to see those numbers.

I think the internet hype is what sold the wii, much like it did for the film Borat.  I honeslty wasnt expecting what I saw last nite either, old, young, women, men all camped at wally world, best buy, and game stop all for the wii, I was like wow!

I asked the manager at the local wal-mart and he told me between 4-5 days dunno how accurate that would be for anyone else.  Nintendo promised 4 million by the end of the year and we only have about 6 weeks till the end of the year so there is good chance that most of us will be getting one in the next few weeks.

I went to an "obsure" wal-mart(if there is such a thing) on the bad side of town hoping that less store traffic would give me a better shot.  I was 33 in line bad news is they only had 27 units .  Another walmart had 18 units and 40 in line and there was no more 24hr stores open besides wally world that i could think of.  I guess i'll wait for the next shipment and give it another shot.  This is the first year ever that I didnt get a Nintendo due to it being sold out, wii looks like it will be the best console ever for ninty.

I still have a wired network and I remember nintendo stated that there was some sorta solution that required a usb adapter that xmitted wirelessly.  My question dose anyone remember this?  Is this going to be for sale? How are the wired customers going to connect their wii to connect24?

Going to get one of these games was wondering which one i should get first?  Eventually I'll pick up the other one, but for now just want a fun and challenging game.

Without HD support the rev dosn't need spectacular specs.  Don't know if that GPU is correct but sounds reasonable.

It's all about demographics, certain type of people hang at certain websites.  People of "The Colony" in general fit a certain demographic, they tend to be mainly pc gamers converts and hang in techie websites for example.  If a poll was taken over pc world it would be slanted toward the 360.  

Nintendo's demographics are younger (know i'm going to get slammed for that) and hang out in websites that are more geared toward their culture.

I don't take much stock in those polls.  I've seen other polls on cnet.com and other techie sites were the 360 trounced everyone.  It just depends on the people that go to that site effects the results.
