I really like TechTV, so I hope we don't lose a lot of the good programming that's on there now.  Personally, I think X-Play is garbage, especially with their reviews.  Gross misprononciation of characters' names, inability to understand simple game mechanics, and other things like having someone who hates shooters review a shooter game and give it a bad score are just some of the things that killed the show for me.  I've never seen G4, so I have some hope that the video game side of this new channel will be good, but I'm more worried about losing my favorite techtv shows.

This is one time I wish the US release had gotten delayed.  I am a Metroid crack fiend and I WANT THAT NAMEPLATE!  I have a feeling I'll be paying an ungodly price on ebay to secure one.  ::sigh::  I'm so weak willed.

General Gaming / Gamecube Memory Card info

I don't suppose anyone has any technical info on the Cube's memory card or how it's connections work?  I remember on the old forums there was once a link to a site for this guy who had hardwired a hard drive to his memory card slot.  I don't want to do anything that extreme, but I can't seem to find any information on anything even close to that.  Anything you kind souls could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I had a rent one get one free coupon last year, and I used it to rent this game free from Blockbuster.  After about 2 minutes I felt so incredibly ripped off, and I didn't even pay for it.  But I lost a precious free rental in an age where game rentals aren't the bargain they used to be.

Strubcube, I remember that!  Me and my friends would drive our cars into the lava over and over just to hear that.  It was hilarious.

I really lived the blacklight shortcut in Wicked Woods.  That was one of the best alternate routes in the game.

Termin8, I've actually heard of the HSV version of the game.  I remember reading all about it, although I can't seem to remember where.  Hmmmm...

I absolutely LOVED Beetle Adventure Racing.  I would love a sequel or even an enhanced port.  Unfortunately, it was published by EA, and if they start pulling support for the Cube, we'll never see this game.  Although, I doubt that we'd see a sequel anyway.  It seemed like a game that just capitalized on the Beetle brand recognition that was big at the time.

Nintendo Gaming / USB Enabled Memory Card!

Man, I loved the DexDrive.  Having somethng similar for the GC would be great.  I just wish I'd heard about this sooner.  I've already bought 2 251's and 1 59.  I did have the Interact one, but one day it just imploded.  I saw a 1019 block memory card at best buy the other day for $20.  It was made by Nyko.  And I think there was supposed to be one by MadCatz too, but I haven't seen that one in stores yet.
