Just in time for the pro basketball season, you can get your game on, courtesy of EA Sports.

The Freestyle Revolution Hits Stores with EA's NBA LIVE 2004; Top Selling Basketball Franchise Delivers the Definitive Hoops Experience

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 2003--NBA LIVE 2004, the authentic and innovative hoops videogame from Electronic Arts, is available in stores today under the EA SPORTS(TM) brand. Going into its tenth season, NBA LIVE is the best-selling basketball videogame franchise of all-time with more than 18 million units sold.

NBA LIVE 2004 features four-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter of the Toronto Raptors as its cover athlete and delivers the Freestyle Revolution through expanded EA SPORTS Freestyle Control, which allows for signature moves, mid-air passing, control over players away from the ball, and much more. Whether running the point with one-button Quick Plays, spinning free in the lane for a vicious dunk, or locking down with stiff new defensive options, NBA LIVE 2004 features realistic gameplay, which is even further enhanced this year with 10-man motion capture, a first for sports games.

NBA LIVE 2004 also features a dramatically enhanced Dynasty Mode(TM), all-new commentary from Marv Albert and Mike Fratello, and online play through EA SPORTS(TM) Nation, the comprehensive new PlayStation(R)2 console gaming destination for EA SPORTS titles which offers downloadable roster updates, rankings, matchmaking between two or more players, tournaments, instant messaging, and hands-free chat via USB headset (Internet and broadband connection required).

Developed by Electronic Arts Canada, NBA LIVE 2004 is available on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Xbox(TM) video game system, and Nintendo GameCube(TM). PC-CD will be available November 11th. NBA LIVE 2004 is rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB. The game's official website is www.nbalive2004.com.

Have you even played the game?

Why must people who dont like sport games always rag on them, when in fact they know very little, if anything at all about them?
Many people find sports games fun, and at the end of the day that is the reason for playing video games, to have fun.
So if you prefer Zelda then so be it, I prefer sports games.
