New Ghost-Type/Steel-Type Pokémon Announced
« on: July 07, 2013, 10:02:48 AM »

Intelligent floating sword? Yes, please.

A new Pokémon has been announced: Ghost-type/Steel-type Honedge.

Honedge, the first Ghost-type/Steel-type Pokémon, takes the form of a sword, and is able to remove its sheath (using its cloth-like arm) to attack opponents.

Check out some screenshots of Honedge in action in the gallery below!

They've run out of animals to manipulate into Pokémon designs, so now they've moved on to inanimate objects. I'm holding out for the Ghost-Fighting sentient brass knuckles Pokémon, myself.

HAHAHAHAOHOHOHO

Does Magnemite ring a bell? I get pretty sick of this Pokemon elitism with the original 151 Pokemon, myself.

(Not saying you're being elitist, but I do get sick of that kind of attitude.)

This. Magnemite the magnet, Koffing the naval mine, Grimer the literal pile of sludge... I'd go as far to say that Gen I is the least creative of the generations, by far. I'll take Blaziken over Charizard and Hydreigon over Dragonite any day.

Yes, we finally agree on something Pokepal. I've been a Pokemon fan since Pokemon Crystal version, so I should have major nostalgia for the first generation. Considering that I don't, seeing all this fan wank every new generation pisses me off to no end.

Apparently we can't edit posts anymore.

Only in talkback and podcast forums (thanks to the fallout of SUPER deciding to mess around).

Gotta love the overactive Pokémon defense force in here. For the record, I've bought and played games from every set in the series except Black/White 2, and I'm very much looking forward to X and Y. That doesn't mean I can't make fun of a silly design like this one.
