I bought it today at target.  The ad says the 14th for some reason, but their street date chart said today.  Voila.

No, the PC version is far superior to the 360 version for one main reason, user created content :-p  Still doesn't make sense.

The thing I don't understand, is how Oblivion won game of the year but LOST best PC game.  That makes ZERO sense.  If it's the best game of the year, and it's on the PC, than it should OBVIOUSLY be the best PC game.

I almost got smacked in the face with the Nunchuk while watching my friend play wii boxing.  She accidentally let go of the nunchuck and it swung around and came within 6 inches of smashing my face in.  Close call!

6)  I have the Nintendo USB WiFi dongle, and EVERY thirty seconds it goes "pop" and says "A user is connected to the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector."  It's REDICULOUSLY annoying.  Is there anyway to turn off these damned announcements(or atleast the little "pop" noise)?

It sounds about right.  I used to work at best buy, and when the ds lite came out, we would get a shipment of ds lites but would have to hold onto many of them because they are mentioned in the sunday ad.  Because its in the ad, they want to have it available.

 UPDATE:
I called and cancelled my order.  The customer service lady said that _everyone_ selected UPSRED as their shipping method(the overnight), so not only is nintendo out of stock, but ups is overloaded with product to ship.  Looks like im getting some third party cables on sunday

I'm hoping to god that I get to Walmart in time.

I'm kind of in the same situation.  My university(George Mason University) is playing against Wichita in basketball Saturday at 4:00(look for me on ESPN2).  I'm gonna be decked out in facepaint.  Then, right when the game is over, THE RACE IS ON, 20 minutes to the nearest 24/7 walmart.

Well, they are ariving mid-december in stores.  So if I'm going to get it mid-december while paying 5 dollars shipping and handling, i might as well just cancel my order and buy it from a brick and mortar store.

I ordered mine at 3:30pm EDT today, and while checking my order status, it said they were backordered.  So I shot them this email:

"Hello, I just recently put in an order for the Nintendo Wii Component video cables at around 3:30 EDT.  When I ordered, there was no notice of the cables being back ordered, and thus I paid for the one day shipping($13.00), expecting to get them before or on Sunday, November 19th.  However, now when I check my order status, it says that the cables are on back order.  Does this mean that I will not be getting my cables by launch day?  If so, I would like to cancel my order(or atleast change shipping methods).

Thanks for your time
Sean

p.s.
My order number is ......... with area code ....."

Hopefully they get back to me.

EDIT:
I called the 800 number and talked to a representitive.  He said that _all_ orders are on backorder, and that the surest way to see if you are getting them on time, would be to check your order tomarrow.  If it still says back ordered, then its backordered, however some will say shipped.  Heres hopping everyone here get's theres by sunday!

Plasma pong, found at www.plasmapong.com  It's a game that my friend made over this past winter break, MOST EXCELENT.   Steve(the creator), summarizes it well;
"This variation of Pong utilizes real-time fluid dynamics to drive the game environment. Players have several new abilities that add fun twists to the classic game. In the game you can inject plasma fluid into the environment, create a vacuum from your paddle, and blast shockwaves into the playing area. All these abilities have fluid-based kinetic effects on the ball, making Plasma Pong a fast-paced and exciting game."

$0.25 for a pokemon trading card pack would be a steal!  They retail for $3.29.  People would go out and just buy Wii points and get packs that way.
