Still no Wario Land.

Nintendo, why do you hate me?

So just to clarify, is there or is there not dual circle pad control? Like, move Pit with the left circle pad, move the targeting reticule with the right circle pad?

I've had this for a pretty long time, and I never finished it. I guess this is a good excuse to get back into it!

Also, more games need a hug button.

I'd just like to say despite feeling a bit skeptical of the game from these impressions, I went ahead and bought it anyway. I've been having a blast so far, and have experienced little to none of the problems that were addressed. Hell, I'm up to Stage 5, and I haven't failed a level once, or lost any of my Scrogs. Doing things quickly is a must for this game. I'm at the point where I can take down a group of Grocks in probably less than 30 seconds, and stringing together combos with my different moves feels pretty satisfying. I do have to admit, money is pretty tight, but it hasn't been a major problem so far. I place guns where I need them the most, and cover the openings on my own.

I think where the hate can really come from is the fact that there's hardly any in-game explanations for anything, so you have to figure everything out yourself. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I kind of felt a sense of accomplishment from figuring everything out on my own, but when you have to quickly speed around a large map, while juggling the management of your towers and the protection of the town from Grocks coming in all directions, things can get pretty hectic.

Also, I'm not even a fan of tower defense in the first place, yet I love this game, so Nintendo must have done something right!
