Replacing Fluidity is an NES Virtual Console game featuring four-player football.

NES Play Action Football, a 2007 NES Virtual Console release on Wii, is the latest downloadable game reward on Club Nintendo.

Available for 100 Coins, the 1990 North American-exclusive TOSE-developed release features four-player support and eight NFL teams featuring the rosters from the era (even in the Virtual Console version). The eight teams are the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Redskins. The game is normally available for 500 Wii Points.

The offer for the game ends on September 2. It replaced Fluidity as a rewards, and the other current Club Nintendo game reward is 3D Classics Excitebike, which is available for 150 Coins until August 26.

Drat I meant to get Fluidity before it was taken down. Oh well. Probably would not have had time to play it anyways.

I remember this being one of the flagship titles to support the NES Satellite, which enabled four-player action but unfortunately linked to the console via crappy infrared wireless link. It was later replaced by the superior (wired) Four Score accessory.
