Here's a fun and fair New Mario level. So wall jump and propeller and no cheap death trap.

The SMT4 book is actually a 175 pages strategy guide. I don't usually care much for artbooks and soundtracks, but this is quite nice.

Monster World 4 is awesome.
It was clearly the inspiration for Shantea and Monster Tale for the DS.

Bit trip beat and runner are both available on steam. Runner was part of the 2d indie "wiiware on pc" bundle sale a few weeks ago. It included Nyx Quest, World of Goo, Sworld&Soldiers and NightSky. Since wiiware are never on sales, it's worth keeping an eye for them.

About FMV game, I just played through the Harvey Birdman game. Wich is a FMV game even though it's animated. It made me realize that the problem with those were just the video quality. They were super compressed with long loading times. A game with decent production and acting would work fine for me.

999 is awesome. Rpgfan's podcast has been praising it since it came out, that's where i heard from it.

They mention that the music of the Wii version will be quite compressed. So i will be getting it for the PC since i don't have a 360.

I've been playing Shiren on Ds too. It's an acquired taste of course but I've been quite addicted to it. It's great in short session and don't focus on actually finishing it.
Spelunky on pc is a great twist on the rogue genre.

It's a 8-bit style side-scrolling action game with great interaction between items and enemies. Quite worth playing.

In term of music games. I was hoping for Nintendo to do a sort of Electroplankton wiiware game. There was 2 or 3 concepts in there the i could create some quite interesting ambient stuff. I don't really care for the karaoke, repeat the patterns, type games.

The four sword adventure on GC had very good side scrolling section. A wiiware version would be very nice.
