A 50 hour game, but it's 20 if you remove the charging of attacks.

Bandai Namco will unleash the dragon on Switch this fall.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been announced for release on September 22 in North America and Europe. The Switch version will offer a six-player local option as well as optional motion controls for throwing Kamehameha at opponents.

The base game is a combat RPG with a player-created fighter taking part in an original story set in the Dragon Ball universe.

Heard good things around the first game. Or maybe I've only seen the people happy with the game.

Anyway, while Dragon Ball FighterZ is the showstopper now, Xenoverse 2 looks like it might be fun.

I've played Xenoverse 1.  From my friend's feedback, Xenoverse 2 is very similar to the first, mostly with additional story content from Dragonball Super, some tweaks to improve the RNG for special items/moves, and a variant of the character story.

It's a fun self-insert into the DBZ universe, and it can be fun to make various create a characters, modify your costumes and move sets, and zip around on a map to fight baddies.

If you've never played the original, I imagine Xenoverse 2 is a good entry point if you want to experience the game.  Has there been any announcements whether the Switch version will come with the DLC characters and levels?  You would hope the delayed release from the original game would mean it's coming with that content included if they're asking launch price for it.
