Eh... they were all good. Here's mine:

DS Lite EXTRiiME Paperclip (TM) to lead an OFFICE SUPPLY REVOLUTION!

The paperclip has been a staple of most sophisticated cultures since 1899 and while useful for applications such as holding papers and picking locks, it hasn't changed from the day it was released. Nintendo aspires to innovate the office supply industry this June with the release of the DS Lite EXTRiime Paperclip. With its sleek clamshell design, you can bind your documents in style. And if you prefer some of the old-school paperclip uses, a retro-style-straight-paperclip holder is built into the unit for access to your MacGuyver'd lock picking tools. Be a part of the revolution this June.

The song is "Easy Breezy" by Utada (the girl in the ad). That's her newest single... glad Nintendo has her under their belt because she's super popular.

TalkBack / RE:Nintendo Street Team Kicks Off Today

I was a finalist for Chicago... notice how the Chicago team has a member from last time, Alvin, and his TWO BEST FRIENDS (who were all in each others videos). Yeah, I feel a bit cheated, but what can ya do? Besides, I know my video was better than those that won...

Nintendo preached diversity in this thing... so they hire THREE BEST FRIEND FILM STUDENTS?! I guess someone called in a favor... next time, maybe they won't tell me my video was the best you had seen in the area.

And the karaoke?! Jeez, karaoke was all over my application, and I suggested it on the phone. Overall, I'd like to warn people that the whole street team finalist experience was just bad (they had poor contact with us, weren't on schedule, etc), and I would never put myself through so much worry again.

General Chat / Did anyone else make it as a Street Team finalist?

Heya!

Nintendo called me yesterday to let me know that I'm a finalist for the Chicago area Street Team! Is there anyone else here who made it?

Guys, I think he was talking about emulating the SNES games as roms on the DS (like PocketNES or SNESadvance for the GBA). The DS is more than powerful enough for it, and I'm sure it'll become a reality soon.
