The Game Factory’s bear building mini-game fest will hit stores in the fourth quarter of 2008.

 The Game Factory recently announced the upcoming release of Build-A-Bear Workshop A Friend Fur All Seasons for Wii. The game, priced at $39.99, is set to come out in the fourth quarter 2008 and is the follow-up to the recent DS game, Build-A-Bear Workshop.

The premise of the game is founded on the license’s iconic teddy bear building. Compatible with up to four players, you design a teddy bear and then use it to play various mini-games so you can win medals, gaining access to more customization options. These mini-games promise to take advantage of the Wii remote and run the gamut from sack races to jumping on trampolines. There is also an Adventure mode, though there aren’t any details about that yet.

About the Game

Build-A-Bear Workshop® A Friend Fur All Seasons for Nintendo Wiiâ„¢ is the ultimate family-friendly game.  Like a party game, up to four players can participate by personalizing their own furry friend, playing the mini games for medals, experiencing adventure mode, and using the medals to ‘purchase’ more outfits and accessories. Players can use the revolutionary Wiiâ„¢ remote to hop their way through a sack race using the motion control function, and use the pointer function to throw flying discs or jump on a trampoline using the Wiimote buttons. In the end, all players attend the party hosted by Bearemy® and Pawlette Coufur®, huggable Build-A-Bear Workshop mascots.        Created by game developer Neko Entertainment, the characters and levels in the   Build-A-Bear Workshop game will be rendered in 3D and a player's choice of a furry friend, outfits and accessories will trigger a variety of animations and behaviors. Neko will also incorporate full interaction between the player and his/her furry friend to unlock mini-games that will take full advantage of Nintendo Wiiâ„¢ system.

Punny.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

I'll be completly honest, this was a really fun news article to write because this is one of the stupidest games i've seen in recent memory. I stared at the screen blankly when I read the title of the game.
