Good review. Only two days left; hopefully there are some better adverts apart from the one we saw, and we'll see how it does, and if it can move a significant amount of DS's together with the price drop.

So, can I buy a pair of glasses and a red bow off the bat or will I need to wait a while and work for it?
TVman is dead. I killed him and took his posts.

You can buy a red bow off the bat.  Glasses you'll have to find... and you can't have them both on at the same time.

Can you unlock all 18 normal breeds in 1 version? I ask because I don't know anyone else with a DS.

Yes, it will just take some time by yourself.  You accrue trainer points for pretty much everything from teaching tricks to winning competitions to walking your dog.  It takes 2000 trainer points to unlock the first breed, which took me about a week to build up.  After that, you unlock a new breed or house design every 2000 points for a while, and then eventually you'll need to accrue tons of points to get the last few things.  Also, you don't get to choose what's unlocked.  It just goes in order.

I love the quotes in the review, that was an awesome idea.  It was a great review anyway, but the quotes made it more...convincing I guess

Excellent review Bloodworth, very clever with the usage of the quotes. Almost made it look like it was an official Nintendo review, eheheh.
