Soundtracks Feature Mix of Chart-Toppers and Emerging Rock, Hip-Hop Bands
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 2004--On the heels of announcing the blockbuster in-game soundtracks for Madden NFL 2005 and FIFA Soccer 2005, Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS) today revealed the line-up of songs that will be featured in this holiday's top EA SPORTS(TM) titles. Featuring new tracks from the hottest names in rock, hip-hop, punk and pop, the music in NBA LIVE 2005, NHL(R) 2005 and NASCAR(R) 2005 CHASE FOR THE CUP(TM) will have players dribbling, skating and racing harder than ever before.
The songs in the games are selected by EA TRAX(TM) -- the music initiative that EA debuted in 2001. The program is dedicated to bringing gamers today's best music through EA's videogames.
