#7 (Wii) was a "What-If?" - They didn't say the Wii is a failure. They didn't even suggest it. All they said was that it's too early in the to really know for sure what the future holds for Nintendo's latest console. It did say that the Wii needs a good 2 years before we'll have a clear picture of where it's heading, especially with Nintendo's past history with 3rd party support on their last few consoles.
I also fully agree with them about graphics for the next generation of consoles. Nintendo better be able to match the offerings from Sony and Microsoft otherwise people might not be as receptive the next Wii as they were this time around, since the uniqueness of the current system would no longer be able to make up for it's other limitations when compared to the competition.

It's not RE4 - 2, not even close, its a Dead Aim/Gun Survivor type game. All of the RE spin-offs game have been average AT BEST, usually they just flat-out suck. Code Veronica is not a spin-off since it plays just like the other RE games and it's part of the main storyline.
It's funny that you seem to know exactly how it plays with only a few sentences of info, how do you know it'sll be a Dead aim/Survivor game with such little information?
Think about it, the difference between this game and other RE spinoffs is that this one actually tells the main story of the RE seres (just as code veronica did like You yourself said) while the other ones were just sidestories that don't add anything to the overall plot. UC is suppose to fill in a bunch of gaps that were left in the story from RE 0-4 and if such a big part of the overall story will be told that way, I don't think Capcom is going to half ass this.
Here's a riddle for ya: What's th difference between Umbrella Cronicles and all other RE spinoffs?

Those figures courtesy of Enterbrain, parent company of Famitsu magazine. Wii (which went on sale in Japan on December 2) has sold about 1.95 million units. The PS3, in contrast, has only sold 812,000 units, despite having been on sale since November 11. These figures, while somewhat sour, may still prove a comfort to Sony, since they represent a narrowing of the previously reported "4-Wiis to every PS3" margin which was being reported out of Japan in February.

The worst thing is if gamers decide to be prudent and take a wait and see approach, or if they decide that its not worth playing a port or remake, then all the third parties start complaining about not selling on nintendo consoles, and instead of blaming themselves for not putting the effort into making the game, they blames the wii owners for only wanting nintendo produced games and stuff. Capcom need to put their money where their mouth is and come up with more than that really......
I'm starting to get worried, I remember the wii was supposed to be 2-3 times more powerful than the gamecube, Find it weird that I'm still playing games that look technically less advanced than the gamecube. Nintendo has to show these third parties how its done I think.

If an Xbox 360 was priced at $300.00 I wonder what that would do to the market. The Price of the Wii would need to be dropped, perhaps to $199.99 And the PS3 would be left looking very expensive.
But I don't believe in any way shape or form that the current Premium Package would go for the price of the Core any time soon.

With suffocating supply constraints during the November launch period, Sony's PlayStation 3 still outsold the Xbox 360 during the same four-month launch window with 1.06M consoles sold through February 2007.

Briefly ignoring just how supply constrained the 360 was during that four month period, the fact that the PlayStation 3 has outsold the Xbox 360 over the same period in its life span despite costing $200 more per unit isn't a something that should get lost amidst the cries of doom and gloom for Sony's platform. How much more would the Xbox 360 have sold had supply not been so constrained in the first four months after launch?
