EA Gets THX Certification
« on: October 01, 2003, 06:52:03 PM »
The audience is listening, and now it's playing, too.

While some people may think the new Star Wars movies aren't all they're cracked up to be, at least we can give George Lucas a pat on the back for creating THX, the company responsible for giving many movies the once-over in the audio department, making them sound great.

Now THX has extended an arm into videogames, by THX certifying five Electronic Arts titles.  The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, SSX 3, Medal of Honor Rising Sun, Need for Speed Underground and James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing are going to be the first games ever to carry THX branding.
