TalkBack / RE: Animal Crossing and e-Reader to Australia
« on: August 13, 2003, 09:15:36 PM »
I dont trust anything on Nintendo's website. Nintendo of Australia still has Phantasy Star Online as TBA even though its been out and I've had a locally purchased copy for at least 6months.

TalkBack / RE: Nintendo Shuns Euro Imports Again

I can't believe the arrogance of Nintendo here. They're taking that long to make/import a game, and they're unhappy about people buying their games legitimately from another country??

Living in Australia, I've missed out on a few great games (esp on the Gamecube) that I've wanted to own, but have missed out on the chance because Nintendo isn't releasing it here AT ALL, leaving my only choice to import, and now this??

TalkBack / Half Price GameCube Games in Australia
« on: July 06, 2003, 04:41:15 PM »
No, you don't wish you lived in Australia. Gamecube games are the most expensive console games here. Gamecube games are released MONTHS after the rest of the world, IF AT ALL (Animal Crossing anyone?) and half the stores don't even get enough copies in. For example, Burnout 2 released about a month ago. I went to or called all shops in my city looking for a copy, only to be told that most only had 4 or 5 copies to begin with, and they were not getting any more because it was discontinued. This was mere days after the release. Like Patch said, Nintendo really need to pull their fingers out if they want to sell anything in Australia.
