D3Publisher has confirmed in a press release that it has secured the rights to develop and publish games based on the hit Cartoon Network show Regular Show.

“We’re incredibly happy to continue our partnership with Cartoon Network to bring one of its most popular shows, Regular Show, to the digital world,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of product development at D3Publisher. “With this collaboration with Cartoon Network, J.G. Quintel, and the creative team behind Regular Show, the prospect of producing a new game that captures all of the humor and charm of this superb cartoon series is definitely quite exciting.”

While they haven't officially announced a specific game or platform, a PR rep from D3P told us that they will be in touch. The likelyhood of a Regular Show game appearing on a Nintendo platform is high, after last year's Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS release of Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?.
