Trying to earn all the Rainbow Stars in NES Remix 2? This video guide will show you how it's done.

When the first NES Remix came out, I was quickly hooked to the addictive gameplay that combined challenges and remixes to many of the games played while growing up. When NES Remix 2 was released I soon found myself addicted; the ability to share record times over Miiverse brought out a rabid competitiveness within me.

With that said, I realize NES Remix 2 can be a tricky game to learn, especially if you haven't played the featured games. It's really not just about completing the challenges presented in the game, it's about truly mastering the skills necessary to play each game to its fullest. NES Remix 2 ranks players between one and three stars for how quickly they are able to complete each challenge. However, those players who really do extremely well will earn themselves Rainbow Stars, proving their mastery.

This video guide attempts to show players how to earn Rainbow Stars on every stage of the game. Now, there are some levels I'm sure I have completed better than most other players, and a few I probably didn't find the best strategy for, but we all have our gaming strengths and weaknesses. Also note, several stages have multiple paths to success and this guide will show you but one way.

Some of you out there may be wondering why anyone should bother going for Rainbow Stars. Quite simply, a final "Stage" and Miiverse Stamp are unlocked by gaining Rainbow Stars on each stage. Hopefully this guide will help stuck players learn a few tricks and tips necessary in order to succeed.
