Fighting robots from the Famicom and Monster Hunter burst their way onto the eShop this week.

It’s a big week here in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. Half of the population is standing by anticipating the upcoming release of Monster Hunter 4 this Saturday! In the meantime, there still are a few distractions in the form of demos, downloadable titles and Virtual Console games that can hold your attention until then. One of note, Joy Mecha Fight, is a late Famicom fighting game developed by Nintendo. It was released in 1993 and really utilized the Famicom’s hardware to the fullest capabilities. If you have a Japanese 3DS, be sure to check that out as well as the other titles below!
