The winners have been decided! Find out which five people won from the 1000+ entries!
It’s been a long, arduous trek in determining who the winners of our Ultimate Nintendo Fan contest were going to be. We knew the response would be fantastic, but we never expected the over 1000 entries we received! We had a lot of really great and very creative entries, as well as some that probably shouldn’t have bothered. We had some incredibly unique entries and some that clearly didn’t put any effort into it. In the end, there were six stand-out entries, and the Senior Staff culled the field to five. Here are the winners…
Grand Prize Winner: Aric Norine, for his incredible dedication to old-school Nintendo memorabilia. Aric wins the fully-modded Panasonic Q, a one-year membership to Video Game Advantage, an import version of Soul Calibur 2, and a copy of Metroid Prime, autographed by the development team at Retro Studios. Congratulations!!!
Second Place Winner: Stephen Swan, for his Otaku basement. Steven wins a Platinum GameCube, a very rare Nintendo E3 2002 Press Bag, an autographed copy of Metroid Prime, and Resident Evil 2 for GameCube.
Third Place Winner: Michael Pugliese, for his musical skills and the testimonials from his teachers. Michael wins a Platinum GameCube, an autographed copy of Metroid Prime, and Resident Evil 3 for GameCube.
Fourth Place Winner: Andrew Lum, who not only posed naked (yikes!), but organized a huge community playtest for Metroid Prime. Andrew wins a Black Game Boy Advance SP and an autographed copy of Metroid Prime.
Fifth Place Winner: Ryan Barrett, for his “Life of Ryan” Nintendo Tribute film. Ryan wins a Gold Game Boy Advance with pre-installed Afterburner and an autographed copy of Metroid Prime.
