In all honesty, I didn't even know this game existed until I listened to RFN 149 on my way to work this morning. Big thanks to Greg for slipping this bit of info in at the end, because it has really made my day.

I'm not sure which direction Skip is taking with this entry, but I'm glad that they are continuing the series regardless. It will be a real shame if this game is quarantined in Japan, though.

Given NOA's odd localization strategy, it wouldn't be impossible to believe that this game may never see release stateside. Hopefully if NOA snubs it, NOE will pick it up as they have done with some of the quirkier games in the past.

Regardless, being that Chessa and I love this series so much, we'll make it a point to keep everyone posted with any information we happen to learn.

I agree. It better freaking come here. Though I never played the DS one, since it was Walmart exclusive...

While I'm glad that another Chibi Robo is in the works, I'm sort of disappointed it's for the DS and not for Wii. I wasn't a big fan of the last DS Chibi Robo, so I'm hoping for this upcoming version, it's more like the original.

Yeah, the Wii needs more Chibi-Robo love.

I've never played the series, but it has always looked interesting.

I was really hoping NoA would bring the NPC version stateside so I could try it. Do we even have Pikmin 2 confirmed for release here? Maybe Chibi will come in the Fall.

If it doesn't I'll be sure to get this one if it comes out here.

Its likely to come out. We have received three of the NPC games, and Metroid Prime Trilogy will constitute the fourth NPC release in America. We are only missing Chibi and Pikmin 2.

I hope it does come out. I heard they were turning it into more pf a point-and-click adventure and that has me really interested, plus I don't own the original anyway.

Same here.

That would be sweet, and it would mean that they are returning to the original's roots.
