Enix's Dragon Warrior III has just been released in North America, and Planet GameCube is giving you the chance to win it and some other cool stuff.

Since it might be a while before the GBA has any decent RPGs, now is a great time to use the system's backwards-compatibility and get your hands on this truly classic quest from Enix, recreated in handheld form with updated graphics and many new features. The best part is that three lucky PGC readers are going to get all the DW3 goodness for free!

Here are the prizes:

One (1) First Prize: a copy of Dragon Warrior 3 for Game Boy Color, an Official Dragon Warrior 3 Guide from Prima, and a Dragon Warrior Slime Plush Doll - retail value of approximately $60 (US).

1. Eligibility: The Enix and Planet GameCube Dragon Warrior 3 Promotion (the "Promotion") is open to legal residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Arizona, Puerto Rico and Quebec), age 13 or older, who have an active e-mail account and Internet access as of the beginning of the Promotion period. Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parents or legal guardians to participate. Employees of Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules & Regulations ("Official Rules"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. To Enter:

(a) To enter online, select the Promotion link from the Promotion main page (http://www.planetgamecube.com/specials.cfm?action=profile&id=142) on the PlanetGameCube.com web site between July 20, 2001 at 00:01 AM, CDT, and August 3, 2001, at 23:59 PM, CDT. Then send an email to dw3contest@planetgamecube.com containing your first and last name, age, valid email address, and the correct answers to the three Dragon Warrior 3 trivia questions. Incomplete entries will be thrown out.

(b) Eligible entries are those consisting of a working complete email address and the correct answers to the three contest questions, which are found at the Promotion main page. The answers to these questions can be found at http://www.enix.com/dragon-warrior3/index.html or by clicking on the Dragon Warrior 3 Week logo at the PlanetGameCube.com main page. Any unclear answers will be determined as correct or incorrect by the Sponsors, and all judgements by the Sponsors are final.

(c) No mechanically reproduced mail-in entries are allowed and any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods.

3. Prize Drawing: All Promotion entries meeting the requirements of these Official Rules will be entered into the prize drawing, to be held on or around August 4, 2001, at the PlanetGameCube.com offices, 2877 Holmes Avenue #10, Minneapolis, MN 55408. The drawing will be conducted by independent judges whose decisions are final and binding.

The one (1) First Prize Winner, and the two (2) Second Prize Winners will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by e-mail.

4. Prizes and Odds: The prizes to be awarded from the Promotion are as follows:

(a) One (1) First Prize: a copy of Dragon Warrior 3, a Dragon Warrior 3 Guide, and a Dragon Warrior Slime Plush Doll - retail value of approximately $60 (US).

(b) Two (2) Second Prizes: a copy of Dragon Warrior 3, and a Dragon Warrior 3 Guide - retail value of approximately $50 (US) each.

The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that apply to prizes. No cash or other substitution of prizes is permitted, except at the sole option of Sponsor for a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to the parents or legal guardians, who must sign all required affidavits and releases. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes.

Total value of all prizes to be awarded: $160 (US).

5. Notification of Winners: Winners will be notified by e-mail within five (5) business days of the prize drawing, and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within seven (7) days of notification. If a selected Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize and/or where applicable an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release is not timely received, is incomplete or modified, prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected from remaining valid, eligible entries timely submitted. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account specified in the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. No automatically generated entries will be accepted.

6. Privacy Policy: Any personal information supplied by you to PlanetGameCube.com will not be sold, sent, rented, transferred or otherwise disclosed to any third party and will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion.

7. General Rules: By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
