While the Sultan clocks in at close to 50 pounds, it is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in.
My previous experiences with bean bag chairs have wound up in tragedy thanks to my cats' tendency to relieve themselves all over them. However, Sumo Lounge's line of bean bag chairs does not appear to remind cats of kitty litter thanks to the foam they use. Aside from being resistant from cat urine, the SumoSac Sultan is also one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in, but also one of the most unwieldy.

The setup of the chair was an adventure in and of itself. It was shipped in one box containing two vacuum-sealed cubes of shredded furniture-grade urethane foam, the liner, and the microsuede cover. To set up the chair, you have to remove the cubes from their vacuum seal and place them into the liner, where they begin to expand. Then you put the cover over it. There wasn't any instant gratification from un-boxing the chair, as it took time for the foam to set. The company advises that you wait at least 24 hours to let it properly settle.
Once the foam settles, you can enjoy your SumoSac. Because of its sheer size, the Sultan is an extremely comfortable chair that you can easily sink into. The foam used in the chair molds to the contours of your body and makes for a relaxing experience. The chair's velvety microsuede cover is easy to remove, which is good in case it gets dirty. It can be washed normally and easily fits back onto the chair. The zipper is covered by a seam and buries into the chair so it is easily accessible but also doesn't get caught on anything while you're lounging around.
As stated before, the chair is close to 50 pounds and is very large, which makes it difficult to move around. As long as it is kept in one spot, the chair is fantastic. However, if you plan on moving it around your house, you'd be better off getting one of Sumo Lounge's smaller chairs, like the Omni Bean Bag Chair.
Despite its size and heft, the SumoSac Sultan is a great chair because of its mix of comfort, body support, and stability. It is great for lounging around while playing Wii and DS, reading, or watching television. It's worth the $250 price of entry, but only if it's meant to be a semi-permanent fixture.
