Well, obviously they couldn't keep it in stock anymore.  People were actually buying it, and that was costing Nintendo money.  They had to take it down so they could put up more useless crap that people wouldn't actually buy.

Most heinous. I was going to order a second one. Oh well. Maybe come third party company will come out with a decent clone.

Woah ! I just got lucky, today I received mine, i guest i was one of the last ones to get this.

I have to admit, I'm kicking myself a bit.  I had to pick a high-value reward a few weeks back before my coins expired and I've been thinking about buying a 3DS lately, but I ended up going with the Hanafuda cards instead.  I guess I would probably never have enough 3DS games to justify that case, but it would have been nice to have.

Although I was skeptical when ordering a case, the quality was as good as everyone said and I'm really happy to own one.  Glad to hear some lucky (smart?) people ordered more than one case when they were available - I would've loved having a second case, but that's not in the cards any longer.

Ya, smart.  :D    I ordered a second one when there was a headline they were back in stock and received it really quickly.

:D  I'm glad that I got mine when they first came out. It is by far one of the best rewards and is well worth the 250 coins. My only wish is that they will keep bringing us better rewards such as Kid Icarus AR cards and even more. 

I got one with my coins, and I love it. Was thinking about getting another one, but from the look of it, I don't think I could.

Fuck! I was just about to get it because I have 250 coins expiring soon (???), and I noticed that it was missing. That's just really exasperating of them.  :@

LOL... Exasperated because it's their fault that the item was so popular it sold out entirely, or that you didn't bother to order when it was still available?  I feel your pain, but it's possible that Nintendo aren't the ones to blame in this situation.

Maybe we'll get lucky and hear that this particular item gets a second print run.  There is probably enough demand to make it worthwhile, although it's hard to say what NoA bases their decisions on when generating rewards.


If it does come back, I bet they'll increase the coins required to buy one though.  It was clearly one of the best value buys for Club Nintendo rewards so far - the only real competition being Fluidity in my opinion.

This was the second print run. It was sold out previously and then they brought it back pretty recently. I thought about ordering one but I already have a 3DS game case I like a lot, and it holds more games, which is an important quality for me.

I'm amazed some people have enough games where they have 2-3 of these cases and are still disappointed that they are out of stock before they could buy more.  :Q

I got one on the first run, and it's definitely a cool item, but it covers my DS & 3DS collection while still leaving me with extra slots.

Maybe they're planning to just start selling the things.
