Topic: Log-in forever not quite right...

I know there are some who aren't having problems with staying logged in, then there are those of us who are.

What's the deal?

For the record, I can't stay logged in.  Using FireFox 2.0.0.12/XP.

I'm having the same problem, and use the the same browser and OS as UncleBob.

I just don't understand why I have to click on another page of the forums before it re-logs me in.

Most times if I leave NWR and come back I have to log in again, but earlier today I left and when I came back I was till logged in.  This inconsistency is rather unsettling, it burdens my heart.

I just got logged off for no reason (and I appeared as connected :S), and could NOT log on again... took me quite a few retrires :/

That happened to both Pale, me and mini-me... Then was quickly resolved.  I assume they were tweaking the forums at that point...

Well, I ran into a rather weird thing when the forums were put back up, after a while the whole site would come up just ugly text and when I tried to open anything that I hadn't opened earlier I got a weird SQL or SLQ message or whatever thingie.  I finally had to clear my cache and then no problems since then, except for the morning when they were importing the old threads over

I'm using FireFox 2.0.0.12 and it works for me, although I'm entering the forum by the wiiport link.

Odd theory....

What does everyone's address bars say?  I drop the wwws when I go to sites whenever possible...

So I'm logging into the forum using just http://nintendoworldreport.com/forums/.

Because I set up the Wiiport link, that too, doesn't use the www.

Normally I just have to click on a link to remind the forum that I'm logged in, but I thought I was being logged out for a while.

Just now, I came here without that happening.  The only thing that's changed is my snazzy new title (thanks to whoever did that), but I doubt that's related.

This should no longer be a problem since everybody is now forced to use the same domain name.  If it still is, try clearing your cache.
