The US GameCube has arrived!

We've gotten our hands on the US system, hardware, and games. Comparison shots and testing has begun!

It's HERE!

We’ve just gotten our US GameCube hardware from Nintendo! They sent us a GameCube system, 1 Memory Card 59, and a copy of Luigi’s Mansion, and Wave Race Blue Storm. Before tearing into the games, and setting everything up, I took some comparison shots.

Bulky plastic rules!

Maybe in North America we like things a lot bigger than they have to be. The US box is slightly larger than the Japanese box. As far as the Memory card packaging, and the game packaging, those too are also bigger. The Memory Card 59 is now in a larger plastic housing, which probably helps to deter theft. The US games are in DVD sized cases, which I personally like due to the fact that they are still compact, and go great next to my DVD movies. Wave Race, Luigi’s Mansion, High Fidelity, and Star Wars Episode 1. Word.
