Discuss in talkback!

There are three whole game releases this week and more downloadable content from Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2.

This very light week consists of only three games: The Wii and DS versions of D3Publisher's Coraline and Atari's The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity.

Guitar Hero: World Tour brings some Springsteen and Oasis to the table while Rock Band 2 brings another batch of six songs from the gigantic backlog of downloadable songs.

Stay tuned next week for a more populated week of releases. I promise.

Wii Games

Coraline

Publisher: D3 Publisher

Cost: $29.99

ESRB Rating: Everyone

Based off of the upcoming film, which is based on the Neil Gaiman book, Coraline features a unique graphical presentation that echoes the film's stop-motion style. With two worlds to explore, the Normal World and the mesmerizing Other World, this Papaya Studios-developed game is a point-and-click adventure that is riddled with mini-games, which are used to collect button currency. The buttons can then be used to buy new outfits for Coraline and unlock artwork and stills from the movie.

DS Games

Coraline

Publisher: D3 Publisher

Cost: $29.99

ESRB Rating: Everyone

The DS version of Coraline is developed by Art Co. and seems to be conceptually similar to the Wii game. The heroine explores her Normal World and the mysterious Other World in a point-and-click adventure that follows the film's story. It also features tons of unlockables, ranging from outfits for Coraline to artwork from the film.

The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity

Publisher: Atari

Cost: $29.99

ESRB Rating: Everyone

Developed by Razorback Developments, The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity is a game about two young lovers that have to progress through constantly moving levels in order to meet up. Controlled with a combination of the D-pad and the touch-screen, The Chase appears to be similar to the Line Rider series or Kirby Canvas Curse as you draw lines that help move your character around.
