For the second time in three years, E3 2022 has officially been cancelled.

An announcement had been made previously that due to continued COVID-19 variants the in-person, Los Angeles based event would be cancelled, however a second attempt was reportedly in the works for a digital event after an aborted attempt in 2021. This too has fallen through, as confirmed by IGN.

The 2022 edition of the New Game Plus Expo has revealed new localizations and information for nearly 20 games, including some titles that have never been released before.

The sequel to Breath of the Wild has been officially delayed out of 2022.

In a video posted on their various social media, Zelda director Eiji Aonuma confirmed the new target release of Spring 2023. Aonuma cited a need for additional development time and wanting to add new gameplay elements to the world.

System software 14.0 is now available for the Switch to add "groups for software" on the console. At least 12 titles must be installed on the Switch to use the feature, with up to 100 folders and 200 icons per folder allowed.

A new retro-styled RPG will fly off the top rope and into the Switch this summer.

As the name implies, WrestleQuest is an RPG set in the art of professional wrestling in which the main character is a young lion attempting to make his way in the business. "Combat" will use a combination of turn-based and real time actions for the ring performance.

Anime World Report is already prepping the forklifts as a beloved fighting game is getting remastered for Switch.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an enhanced version of the 2013 PlayStation 3 fighting game with numerous additional fighters, will be out in "early fall" for Switch and other platforms.
