North American E3 Sale Now Live

As promised, the big E3 sale for the eShop is now live. Slated to run until next Tuesday at 9 am Eastern, there are specific sales for Zelda and Pokémon plus a large general sale.

Paper Mario: Color Splash Dated, New Mario Party Announced For 3DS 3DSWiiU

MyNintendo Has New Missions On Nintendo's E3 2016 Website

The limited-time missions give MyNintendo members an easy way to grab a couple more platinum points.

Nintendo has added three new limited-time missions to their MyNintendo rewards program to allow players to earn more Platinum Points just for doing things on their E3 website.

There are three new missions, and by finding the named hidden icons on e3.nintendo.com MyNintendo members can bag another 60 Platinum Points.

New Super Mario amiibo Announced

Daisy, Waluigi, and Boo debut as amiibo, and another four characters get new poses in this expansion.

Nintendo has revealed an expansion to the Super Mario amiibo line, marking the amiibo debuts for Daisy, Waluigi, and Boo. There will also be new figures for Wario, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong.

Breath Of The Wild Details: Amiibo Line, Shrines, Male Link Only SwitchWiiU

Nintendo has released some new details about the new Legend of Zelda game, Breath of the Wild.

Pokemon Sun/Moon Adds Battle Royale Mode, Debuts New Pokemon 3DS

A fatal four-way, one fall to a finish.

During the Treehouse Live segment today, Pokémon Sun and Moon received two new Pokémon and a new multiplayer battle mode.

The new Pokémon are Yungoos, a Normal type "Loitering Pokémon" with the abilities Strong Jaw and Stakeout (no description given) and Pikipek, a Normal/Flying type with the abilities Keen Eye and Skill Link. Pikipek is based on a woodpecker and was shown in the February Pokémon Direct video.

Seamless movement and massive adventure

After three and a half years of questions, we finally have a name for the new Legend of Zelda title: Breath of the Wild.

The trailer video showed Link cutting down trees, climbing mountains and using spears, bows and axes in a open world, as well as combat and environmental puzzles. A voiceover was included as well as a male Link.

Just Dance 2017 Coming To Wii U And NX WiiUSwitchWii

The old and the new will be down to dance.

Just Dance will be making another return engagement on Nintendo systems this fall.

The rhythm title will debut this fall for Wii U and "all video game consoles", with a separate NX version launching next year. No new features were shown during the presentation, but the musical performance at Ubi's press conference was set to "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen.

Stardew Valley Coming to Wii U Q4 2016 Switch

Developer ConcernedApe has announced that their indie farm simulator Stardew Valley is coming to consoles in Q4 2016, including the Wii U.

An absolutely insane twin-stick shooter that's all about time.

The eShop is about to pick up a major programming challenge.

4 Corner Games announced first details of their new title tonight on Nintendo World Report's live stream for E3 - Monochrono, a shaded twin stick shooter. The game will feature ten second levels with the option to slow time by one-third to plan shots and evade large quantities of enemy fire, while the player's ship moves at normal speed the whole time.

Further things to waste time and money next week.

Nintendo has announced a sale and some new mobile promotions for next week.

There will be a big E3 eShop sale beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time (11 a.m. Pacific) on Tuesday featuring "some of its (the eShop's) most popular games". My Nintendo members will also receive additional rewards for buying the sale games, but the nature of the rewards hasn't been announced.

The friendly farm wars continue on the 3DS

XSEED's E3 lineup has rounded out with an anticipated localization announcement.

The newest Story of Seasons/Bokujō Monogatari title, known roughly in Japan as "Good Friends of Three Towns" was announced for a North American release today as Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. Releasing next year, the new farm simulation will set your farm in the middle of three towns and set you to exploring them to grow your farm.

The 5th anniversary eShop sale that recently began in Japan will be moving to the old PAL regions, but with a slight twist.

Beginning with this week's eShop updates in Europe and Australia, a large number of 3DS and Wii U titles will be on sale - unlike Japan, where the offer is only for 3DS games.
