This is terrible news. Looks like Nintendo isn't changing the Japanese GBA Colors when this puppy launches in the states. Well sorta...
Woah. Yes, it's been made official. The GBA colors that will be released in Japan will be the same colors that will get released here in the states. Except for some ultra non snappy new names.
White = Arctic
Purple = Indigo
Milky Blue = Glacier
Yes, these snappy new names will make people across the USA just thrilled to buy these wonderful colors. In related news, Nintendophiles across the globe can now throw up in unison.

Well, it appears that that inverse Super Nintendo color scheme will be out in America.

You can never have enough GBAs!!!!
Despite rumors that the number of GBA would be decreased, Nintendo has proven them wrong by increasing the number to 1.4 million! It still isn't enough to satisfy the demand, but the number is certainly nothing to scoff at. And hopefully GCN production is coming along just as nicely, making a raid much less likely come launch. This is certainly good news: Nintendo doens't seem to be running into the rut that Sony fell into.

Here's what mmWire had to say...

Video-Senki has struck again with more great words from NCL president Hiroshi Yamauchi.
Japanese gaming industry magazine Zaikai recently conducted an interview with Hiroshi Yamauchi and Video-Senki was kind enough to post it. Yamauchi says some pretty harsh words (what else is new) for the game industry regarding the future of game development, online games, and the state of the industry itself. Below are a couple of the nicer quotes from Yamauchi-san...

The word is that Nyko's gotta an accessory arsenal waiting to happen for the GBA. Here's the first details...
If you have a Game Boy or Game Boy color odds are you have a light for it. So far, out of all the things that I've used with my Game Boy's, Nyko's Worm Light is the best. Many companies have copied it because it's so damn good. Then snipers took their sorry asses out for pulling a M$. Booya!

The PS2 is a good value... as a DVD player only!
Lately, NCL's President, Hirohsi Yamauchi has mouthed off about Square, seemingly attempting to encourage stronger support or none at all. Usually, we can expect some sort of strong statement from Yamauchi and when he's not postponing his retirement, he's usually slamming the competition. Mips36 emailed... Read more...
