Scott was kind of unpleasant to women and tried to change, which puts him one up on the publisher.

One of the last great licensed games is coming back on sale, including a Switch release.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: Complete Edition, a new release of the brawler based on the comic series and movie, will come to Switch this holiday. It was originally sold on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in 2010 to coincide with the film, but was delisted in 2014. The Switch version will includes Knives and Wallace as playable characters.

The announcement was made as part of the second Ubisoft Forward presentation, which did not include the video below due to "time constraints":

Absolutely legendary sub-header, well done.

Damn what a sub-header indeed.

Also they're so blatantly lying. Last time it was time constraints too. That was July, it's September now. If time constraints were truly this dire, they could've re-used the previous "message from our CEO" if needed, or thrown up a text image. Are we seriously to believe this 3+ billion dollar conglomerate can't stitch 2 video files together 30 minutes before the show?

Because that's the charitable reading here. The worst reading would be their CEO keeps conveniently timing his "messages" to land outside the editing window for their marketing department. Note how they say it'll be included in the VOD afterwards, which will obviously have way fewer eyeballs than the live broadcast.

Supposedly the external investigation report is scheduled to release this month. Wonder how they'll bury the lede on that one.

I didn’t particularly like the Scot Pilgrim game (though I didn’t play a ton of it) so I normally wouldn’t even click on this thread. I’m glad I did if only for the sub-header. Bravo, sir. Honk! for you.

Honestly, I feel like the only reason anyone even remembers that game is because Ubisoft took it away. It's a pretty standard River City Ransom Beat 'em Up with a few catchy songs, and the story only makes any sense whatsoever if you've read the graphic novels (which I hadn't until afterwards).

Cool that it's being re-released but I feel like people are going to cool on that game pretty quickly once they're actually legally allowed to play it again.

I've read the graphic novels, but never played this.  I thought it was supposed to be good, but you guys are suggesting otherwise.  I may still check it out.

Also, props for the sub-header.

I love this game, and don't have much affinity for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World's story.  Definitely the pixel art and soundtrack are what truly stand out here, but I love how zippy and powerful you get as you get more upgrades.

Maybe nothing special for most, but as a beat-em-up fan, I love it.

I'm not super big on beat 'em ups, but I think you've skewed me back to checking it out.
