Persona fans rejoice!

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is coming to the 3DS.

Persona Q combines the characters of Persona 3 and 4 into an all-new RPG.  The game has the characters done in chibi-styled visuals and is being directed by  Daisuke Kaneda , the director of Etrian Odyssey IV.  It has similar  gameplay with his other series with its focus on dungeon crawling. No word on a North American release has been given, but it does come out in Japan on June 5 next year.

The new title was announced during an Atlus event along with Persona 5 for the PS3, Persona 4 Arena 2 for the PS3, and Persona 4: Dancing all Night for the PS Vita.

Hopefully this bodes well for a Persona 5 release for the Wii U. I mean, if Persona 5 is going to be a Sony exclusive, that's one thing. But it would be tragic if they released Persona 5 for both Ps4 and Xbox One, but excluded Wii U. The frat bros who play Xbone don't have any interest in relatively obscure JRPGs, after all. All they want is their Call of Duty and their Halo and their DUDE R THEIR ANY MORE NACHOS?!

I've never been interested in the Etrian Odyssey series, so I think I'll pass on this one.  Now Persona 5 on the PS3? That's right up my alley.  :D

How in the bluest of hells did you go from "Persona spinoff on 3DS and Persona 5 on PS3" to "Persona 5 on PS4 and a media extender"?

I've never played a game in this franchise, but the type of game interests me. Might be worth watching.

You read that Microsoft shouldn't have Persona 5 if Nintendo can't have it. I don't know if it'll go multiplatform, but if it does, give it to the people who like Earthbound, not the people who like Madden.

My bad. I got mixed up and thought Persona 5 was coming to PS4, not PS3.

Wasn't the Persona Q a GameCube that could play DVDs?
