Monster Hunter fans can get a limited edition 3DS unit and more this December!

Nintendo and Capcom are releasing a limited edition Monster Hunter 3G Nintendo 3DS hardware bundle on December 10 in Japan.

The unit itself is a specially designed white 3DS that has Monster Hunter 3G logo and markings and retails for 20,800 yen ($270). Monster Hunter 3G will also be released bundled with the Kakuchou Slide Pad attachment on the same day for 6,990 yen ($91) and the game on its own for 5,800 yen ($75).

Awesome, I'd ask if we could have that for NA, but they'd 'prolly see that as unprofitable like those RPG's that never got released over here :(.  At least we're eventually getting the game... right?

MH doesn't have the fanbase to justify a Higher priced 3DS here.

Wow, that's expensive, even for the stand alone game.

Wow, that's expensive, even for the stand alone game.

But you do get an Alarm Clock with every version.

While that is the suggested retail price of the game (as it is for many 3DS and Wii games), gamers in Japan should be able to find it cheaper at electronic stores and such. I just checked Amazon, and right now they have the stand alone game listed at 4,705 yen. Nothing on the special edition console or Slide Pad bundle in terms of price, other than what you see above.

I hope this comes up for sale on Play-Asia; I've been wanting to get a Japanese 3DS and this one is perfect.
