Ubisoft's We Dare Brings 'Spice' to Party Games

Be careful where you put it!

Ubisoft recently revealed a new Wii and PlayStation 3 title for the European market called We Dare. The game features an array of different mini games for players to compete in but with a spicy twist. The genre marker on the official website describes it as a "Sexy Party Game".

On the surface it looks similar to other mini game collections on the Wii, but to complete the various games, players will have to move and or place the Wii remote into suggestive positions. Such as one person laying over someone's lap, while the other pats the Wii remote tucked into the back of their pants. Or dangling a Wii remote between two people’s lips while they try to bite away at an imaginary apple.

Ubisoft has released some promotional video content showing some of the ‘acts’ that players have to complete, but the video has been region locked on their official Youtube channel and is available to view only in Europe and Australia. We Dare is due for release on March 11, 2011.

well played Ubisoft, another stupid mini-game collection has turned into a scandal and possibly help sales. I would try to get this ad on fox news and that will guarantee a million seller.

Well, except that they don't plan on even trying to sell it in the US.

"This video contains content from Ubisoft, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

edit: I just realized that it was mentioned in the OP

IGN has the video on their site if you want to watch it (I saw this story last night on the IGN Daily Fix, and they mentioned this for people who want to see the trailer).

Seriously?

I wonder what would happen if they replace the....

no i'm not going to tell you what i'm thinking

..but if they did they wouldn't have made the game.

I hear the board game version is played with a six sided die. And one side says "RAPE".

Which European NWR staff member is going to review this?

It's gotta be Greg. It would be hilarious to hear him talk about it on RFN.

I agree. But do you really see Ubisoft sending out review copies of this?

Edit: Never mind. It's Ubisoft. Answered my own question.  :D

Damn! This commercial is hot though.

A couple of guys, a few girls and a bunch of wine, candles and this game seems like the beginning of a very interesting night.

If the MTV's Skins debacle has taught me anything is that this will bring even more people to the game just for the morbid curiosity of it all. And its sad too since its likely that the game doesn't deserve this much attention as for all the suggested sex, lesbianism, homosexualism and eroticism of it all, it is still a Wii mini-game compilation.

BlackNMild2k1February 28, 2011

I agree with your point but i just want to add this since you brought it up
MTV skins is kinda tame in comparison to the original UK version.

I've only watched the first few episodes to see how it compares, but I felt that it was enough to base my opinion off of.

Yeah I knew about the UK version being more scandalous than the US version. Still people cried fowl over it. And if Ubi decides to bring this over you can bet people will cry over that as well...

AN ADULT GAME, ON MY WII? HEAVENS WE CAN'T HAVE THAT! :p
