Couldn't make it to Tokyo? Watch our footage of the event and it'll be like you were there.

Join our Japan correspondent, James Charlton, as he takes a tour of the showfloor, plus live Nintendo music!

Our video starts with a walkthrough of the hustle and bustle at the Makuhari Messe entrance before showing you the waiting times board with mindboggling entries such as a 40 minute wait for Steel Diver and an eye-watering 100 minutes for Ocarina of Time 3D. Then we bring you straight onto the show floor, and after a short intro present to you the following booths:

Kid Icarus: Uprising (with gameplay detail)
Live Music Stage: Donkey Kong Medley
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
Ridge Racer 3D
The Viewing Wall
Dead or Alive Dimensions
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Live Music Stage: Zelda Medley
Nintendogs + Cats
Live Music Stage: Super Mario Medley

Additional credit: Michael "TYP" Cole for music selections.

Nice video and music selections, guys!
A+
So, what other goodies did you get, James?  What's in the bag?

40 minutes for Steel Diver? That's just weird.

Out of all the videos I've seen this is the one I've really been waiting for- just shots of the people and happenings. Thanks a bunch for this. If anyone is curious they can see the live music stage uncut here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLquZcrrqx8&feature=player_embedded

I have to agree, that was a great little video that seemed to have captured the essence of the event. Nice job!

The Cave Story sound bite at the end was perfect.

James did all the hard work. :)

A free 3DS-

-pamphlet.  ;D

I guess I should have checked it before stating that it was full of amazingly cool stuff.
The bag itself though is pretty cool!

Thanks for the nice comments guys, makes it worth locking myself in the editing room for 2 days solid!
All musical related appreciation should be directed towards TYP though- all his ideas.
