The voice of Duke Nukem will be lending his distinctive vocals.

At a Sega event a short while ago, we were informed that in Conduit 2, Jon St. John will be providing the voice for the protagonist, Agent Michael Ford. Jon St. John is well-remembered for his witty utterances in Duke Nukem 3D where he voiced the titular character. He was also the voice of Big the Cat in Sonic Adventure.

The original Conduit featured a slew of talented voice actors such as Kevin Sorbo and Mark Sheppard, but scheduling conflicts prevented them from being able to return for the sequel.

Conduit 2 releases exclusively for Wii in February 2011. The game's development time has been extended by a few months from the originally announced release.

Hail to the king, baby!

Oh, so that's why Jon St Jon is doing the voice of Dudebro: He needs good karma for being Big the Cat.

Always bet on the Jon?
ALWAYS BET ON THE JON.

Perhaps now Michael Ford will actually have some personality, though he still has his name to overcome...

Not everybody has a name like "Nukem". However I don't think new voice actors will fix the weak script.

The voice acting was pretty bad in the first game, which is sad because I really liked Mark Sheppard on Battlestar. I know that High Voltage has mentioned integrating the story better this time, so it makes sense to focus more on the production values if you're going to have major story events taking place during gameplay and not just between levels.

I liked the voice of the mysterious alien ally. Which one was he?

No Kevin Sorbo to save the world again? :(

Kevin Sorbo played Prometheus. Sad he won't return for the sequel.
