I am still not sure about this but I'm willing to give it a chance if it scores well.

I've had this pre-ordered since forever. Meaning last year actually...

I've been in a shmup mood lately, but I'll probably wait for this to drop in price at least 10 wingwangs before I pick it up. These sound like great online features, which delights me that we're getting this kind of stuff on the Wii but infuriates me that small third parties are doing better with the Wii online stuff than Nintendo themselves.

Whee. If this doesn't come out here very soon I'll probably import it (if that works), 40$ games tend to cost 50 Euros (78$) when released here.

The website offers powerup capsules for download, I guess (or hope) that means you can also use a more conventional powerup system in your levels instead of being restricted to the Tumiki system (catching dead enemies and using them as weapons). I wonder how closely people will be able to recreate other shmups in the game...

I've never been a shmup fan, but this game just looks so creative and fun. It is begging for a purchase.
