Today, Nintendo announced the release date for the Black Wii system in Australia. The system will be available on March 11, and will be bundled with Wii Sports and a black Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
Australia is the third territory in which the Black Wii has been launched, including Japan and Europe. Although no Black Wii release date has been confirmed for North America, the black Wii Remote launched late last year.
In coordination with the launch of the Black Wii system, Nintendo Australia also announced a contest. The company is giving away 3 black Wii consoles, and 5 prize packs consisting of a black Nunchuk, a black Wii MotionPlus, and black, pink, and blue Wii Remotes. These accessories are launching on February 25.
